Default Please Read Time for a Change

It is time for we the viewers to step up and contact our local NBC, ABC, and CBS stations. The digital online graphic (DOG) or bug they call it needs to be moved.

This annoying little advertisement in the middle of my plasma needs to go. All of these corporations have this DOG set for old tvs 4:3 except for FoX. Fox has there DOG set for 16:9 aspect ratio and the DOG is in the lower right hand corner of my set, where it should be.

The only way we the viewer can watch the Olympics or any other viewing choices without this Dog covering up heads hands and faces is to call your LOCAL station and complain. The affiliates of NBC can then complain to NBC corporate or CBS corporate and we can get these Onscreen advertisements moved.

We should not have to have our viewing expierence interferred with because they want to put Peacock feathers, or the CBS eye in the middle of the flat screen. I pay for the mortgage the power and the 2500 dollars for my plasma, they should not turn it into a living room billboard.

These corporations need to come into the 21st century and adjust for 16:9, so i ask you in this community who have flat panels to google your local NBC, CBS, ABC affiliate and take 10 minutes to call each one and explain that it is time for thier corporations to move these to 16:9.

If you need an example look at where the logo is on a CBS program versus where Fox puts their logo. I watch Criminal minds with the CBS eye on top of the actors faces. When i watch 24 the logo is in the corner.

For 3 corporations whose job is TV they sure have fumbled the ball on this one. Thanks for your time Joe.

P.S. This may need to be copied to the LCD & Plasma thread so it can be seen by all that have this problem.
