Episodes 1, 2 and 3 will be out on March 25th for a bundle price of $14.99 or individual episodes are $7.49 (So obviously the bundle is the way to go since you get one episode free that way and pointless buying an episodic game if you don't plan to follow through the whole way). Episodes 4, 5 and 6 will be out later but no confirmed date or price. Don't see why they wouldn't have the same pricing though so the complete game of all 6 episodes should be $30 if you buy them as bundles.

it sucks that it's $30 but has NO platinum.

Also, this game is made by the team that makes Buzz! It's just self published.

actually episode 3 will be free, until march 28 or 25... so its the same price either way isnt it?, ill buy the bundle when it comes out to be safe lol

For those who played it, is it that bad?

4.0 Presentation
All wrong. The pricing is too much, especially considering the length of each episode, and the story and dialogue drag obnoxiously.
7.0 Graphics
The art style of Blue Toad Murder Files is occasionally fun and the environments are colorful, but there’s nothing here that you’ll remember.
6.0 Sound
The soundtrack, as repetitive as it is, is fitting for the tone of the experience. I’m at a complete loss, however, at why a single voice actor seems to have played every part in the game.
4.5 Gameplay
Puzzles can occasionally be fun, but the entire experience is aggravating. A slow pace is this game’s greatest weakness.
3.5 Lasting Appeal
Blue Toad Murder Files has almost no replay value whatsoever. I’d venture to call it a waste of money.

I played it and it's not bad at all. It can get a little boring, but it's SUPER easy to get all the trophies.

It's not boring because the story is bad, it just REALLY easy to figure out who did "it." Each chapter has a different mystery and you have to figure out who did the crime.


and the bundle is buy-2-get-1-free. (for episodes 1-3). Also you can't just buy episode 3 and play it. Episode 1 is the game and 2-6 are considered add-ons.

i agree.... it is definitely a nice break from all the dark action packed games, plus jogs the memory slightly... i enjoy it and look forward to the next 3 episodes...

PAL gets chapters 4-6 today, i hope US gets the same treatment, not only am i curious to find out what goes on, but the easiness of the trophies makes me happy
