Release date delivery shipping Amazon? - Blu-ray Forum

Here's a question, so with Prime I get free release date delivery on some items. What I'm wondering is if I choose 1 day delivery, and pay the $3.99, why does the delivery estimate go PAST the release date delivery that would normally be with the free one offered?

Shouldn't the one day delivery be at least the same as the release day one?

I have Prime. I ordered Frantic/Presumed Innocent which releases on 2/23. Originally the delivery date was 2/25, but now it says 2/23 is the delivery date. In this situation ordering one day shipping would be nothing but giving money away.

If they offer release day delivery don't pay extra for the 1-day shipping. Everytime I bought something with release day delivery I chose 2-day and I got it on the day it was released. I would imagine, even though your delivery estimate says the next day, you will get it on release day.
