Default My Plasma Died!!

I have a Samsung TP-5094 wireless plasma. It died on Monday. This is not a sad day since I found out that my warranty, which I expected to be up a week beforehand, is actually going to cover parts and labor!! It will be repaired tomorrow!! Anyone had warranty service done with Samsung. Good, Bad, otherwise?

I'm sorry to hear about your TV dying. I've heard Samsung is a PITA to deal with for warranty service. I hope all goes well for you and they get your TV up and running again.

I had a board replaced in a 40" LCD, didn't have any issues. I guess it comes down to who ever they use on the area for the service.

Yeah,

Double check the back for wires. If there's one that looks like a power cable plug that one and see if it works then.

Hey guys,
First to answer your question: The 5094 is a model that came out where there are 0 wires that connect to the plasma itself. It is all done through 802.11n wireless transmission with 26-ft. range. Everything connects to the wireless box and all you have to do is plug in the plasma. No messy wires.

My warranty was easy and they fixed it today. I called Monday morning, a tech from Denver called yesterday, I told him the situation, he had parts overnighted, they came today and replaced a power supply in the wireless box, and that was it. Samsung was friendly and the tech was impressed with the bedroom setup. They have really treated me well and I will support that in the next purchase I make!!

I'm glad to hear everything went so smoothly and that you're back up and running.

Also thanks for explaining the wireless TV. I'd never heard of that before.
