It's cheaper if you import the UK version, only £7.98 at Amazon.co.uk.

im a little confused. amazon uk says its formatted in pal, while the uk versions i see on ebay r region free widescreens. im not sure what to go for. the dddhouse one seems like the best bet i guess. r there any differences btw the uk version and the hong kong versions of the actual film?

I don't own it, but the UK version is region free. The only thing is that the supplements are SD(not sure about the Hong Kong version) Pal formatted. So you can watch the movie on any blu-ray player, but you'll need a native player for the extra features.

I've also read that the picture was made worse on the UK version, as well as locked Chinese subtitles.

That's what I've concluded from researching about this movie after this thread popped up.

There is no chance of a U.S. release. The Hong Kong version is the best quality. Only purchase the U.K. Blu-ray if money is an issue, as the picture quality is inferior on it.

That's where I bot it. Great movie great PQ. $32 is a bit steep for a movie but there was no other choice.

Just buy it from Amazon UK. Dont worry about what they list for details, its all wrong anyways. It says PAL but I assure you it is NOT PAL and will plsy fine in your PS3 or whatever player you have.

I recently ordered the follwoing films from Amazon UK for WAY cheaper than buying from anywhere else:

- Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon
- Warlords
- Red Cliff(long edition)

Got great deals on them and they play great in my BDP360.
