Blister packs, WHY!?!?! - Blu-ray Forum

Anybody else here hate these damn contraptions?! I mean, I bought a Singstar game with 2 mics and cut my hand (drew blood!) and broke a perfectly good pair of scissors trying to open the damn thing. They really do live up to thier name! THEY NEED TO STOP PUTTING ITEMS IN BLISTER PACKS!

I call it clamshell and i hate them. Handheld can openers work well from what I hear. Just get it on there and run it around the edges.

I hate them too. I don't think I've ever broke a pair of scissors getting into one though. I use a good pair of EMS shears like these to cut into them.

I hate them myself...usually use a knife and cut the sides..even with that they are a pain to get off.

I always break them one way and one only. Put pressure against each side going the opposite direction and voila it works every time.
