I was talking to a friend about this and I was wondering what movies gave people the "goosebumps" or "chills" when they watched a movie.
Now, I'm not talking about just horror flicks, but I mean anything. For instance, an inspirational film can have a scene where you get goosebumps, because you're inspired and ready to do something. I was just wondering what films have given people the chills and what scenes in particular. I'll start: "GLORY" (1989) - I first thought this film was going to bore me, but man, it nearly brought me to tears at times. But it's the best "chills" movie in my opinion, because you feel so much for the characters. There are a few scenes that give me the chills. - "If you men will take no pay, then none of us WILL!" - "Give 'em Hell, 54th!" - Thomas saying that he will carry the flag - the charge on the beach - Trip, the unpatriotic member of the squad, picking up the flag and leading his men into battle - charging fort wagner - col. shaw being placed next to his soldiers in the grave Let me know yours. |
