Vanished Ps1 Games???? :o

The other week as you all probly no the ps3 had games such as spyro and crash bandicoot 2 added to the classics in the ps store.

now all theses games have gone from my store...
i wanted to buy crash 2 but it has gone??

has this happend to anyone elses store?

how do i get them back?

Sony removed them because they had problems. Today they started issuing refunds to everyone that ought them. They say they are working on fixing them.

I don't think it's a problem with the games. I think they are making sure they work with the new 80gig PS3's which do NOT have the Emotion Engine and are backwards compatible via software emulation only, just like the XBOX 360. I personally don't agree with Sony's decision to use software emulation but it makes sense financially. Rest assured, all the games that were in the store should have the software emulation built into each game shortly. Keep an eye on the download size, you should notice a difference.

All PS1 games use software emulation. The Emotion Engine is for PS2 games. So the PS1 emulation is the same across all models, Emotion Engine or not.

60/80/20 doesn't matter, these games had glitches so they pulled them pending a fix. They have stated (sorry I don't have the link at work) that they will re-release them as soon as possible in a fully functional form.
