Jazzy country by Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis:

http://www.amazon.com/Willie-Nelson-Marsalis-Charles-Blu-ray/dp/B002M3JJDM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1268105304&sr=1-1

The music is not that typical for a Willie Nelson concert, so do not expect him performing his hits.

My wife is a big C&W fan; I'm so-so, but do like several performers. That said, I have kept an eye out for Blu-ray C&W concerts (and DVD previously) for a long time and there are not any, and have not been any to speak of. A few "music videos" package together on a DVD once in a while, but who cares about those. Usually poor PQ & and just plain 2-channel.

For some reason the producers do not want to go to the expense of making HD C&W concerts. IMO, they do not see a market, but I think that they are wrong.

They do exist, because Palladia and HDNet do show country music performers occasionally in HD. I suspect the reason is that the entities controlling Blu-ray distribution are centered in L.A. and New York. Consumers are really not aware of how personal whim by the employees in charge of which titles get a Blu-ray release dictate the choices made. The people that live in those cities and that make up the employees are unlikely to be personal fans of country music.

It would be nice to have a collection of the "Crossroads" series on Blu.

Taylor Swift/Def Leppard was a lot of fun to watch.
