Anyone using the Sieveking Sound - Omega Headphone Stand? This looks great, especially the Zebrano version, but the only problem is that it is $180.00.

My other thought was a glass head from Pier 1 Imports for $20.00.

Ideally you want something that doesn't compress the ear pads while storing/hanging.

ZIPPO -- I like the wood ones you use. I may have to consider them. Do they seem pretty stable? I would hate for it to topple over easily with my cans hanging on them.

So uhm... what's the advantage of doing this as opposed to just laying them on the desk? Besides aesthetics.

Please check my gallery. I show three kinds of headphones including the glass head. In addition I have the Woo Audio dual and the Sieveking Sound Omega Headphone Stand.

The problem with the glass head is it is a little too big. I feel it stretches my headphones a little and so I do not use it. But the price is right and it is ultra cool.

The other two headphone stands that I have are awesome, esp the Omega.

Aesthetics primarily and I don't like the messiness of it sitting on my cabinet, etc.

I like the one ZIPPO mentioned, but seeing the Omega in use also has me liking that one, too.

Tough decision.

i used to store mine on my dogs and cats, worked just fine for me

seriously though, i love some of the pics on here. very clean and classy looking

i went to Home Depot and found this

I missed out on the Brainwavz Zirconia when they were still in stock at Amazon, and I don't want to pay double at MP4Nation.

I need a headphone stand; as nice as the Woo Audio ones look, I can't bring myself to pay ~$70 for one of these. I'm open to suggestions.

Criteria:

Must be black, acrylic or metal (no wood)
Minimalist look
Under $50 shipped

I'm still undecided on the Woo Audio stands. Sure, the HPS-HB Compact Aluminum Headphone Stand falls into my price range (just under $40 shipped), but I want to keep my options open.
