Must be a mistake, but i think im going to order it, just to be sure, it should be on stock, and then give them hell, if its a mistake...

This is possibly another instance when a foreign distributor of the film is not the same as the US distributor (Universal). If that is the case then they can release a movie they have the rights to in the country in which they have the rights. I just looked it up and in Denmark, United International Pictures has the rights to The Bourne Identity & Supremacy. As long as UIP supports Blu-ray they can put any movie on their list in that format and release it accordingly, within that country. If someone chooses to order it and have it shipped outside that country it is their prerogative and it should be fine. Case in point, I just received a UK first edition of a book that was unavailable in the US from amazon.uk. I hope this helps.

I live in Denmark, and I will check this out in my local Blockbuster tomorrow.

cartier: Are you sure, that United International Pictures also has the rights for DVD and not just theatrical?

IMDB says:

Distributors:
Universal Studios Inc. (2004) (worldwide) (all media)

THE HOLIDAY is a Universal Pictures release that was distrubuted ON BD by SONY here in the U.S.

When I saw the Universal logo, I almost fell off the couch!

But then I inspected the BD case and saw that SONY was the disc distributer.

D'oh!

Actually The Holiday is from both Columbia Pictures and Universal Pictures.

I am not sure, it was a quick search after all. I was primarily trying to give context to how it could be possible. Sorry for any confusion.

Great movie, I hope we get Ultimatum! Otherwise I just might need to cave in for a cheap HD DVD player!

If only all the Universal films came out in other countries on BD and region free.. then I'd get anything I wanted!
