Default Universal Blu-ray

I would like to know if the interface they had on their HD DVD versions would be the same as how they will do it for Blu-ray.
Also want to know if the HDi interactive special features etc can easily be converted so that the Blu-ray versions can play the special features (PIP, U-control, Online features etc)

No one is going to know what they are going to do. It is way to early for Universal. They have a lot to learn right now. They are crawling right now while everyone is running. Except Paramount they are walking, but still ahead of Universal.

I think Universal knows more than we think. Remember the insiders have been saying that universal has been sniffing around the facilities for awhile so they may already have the information they need.

Even then, they still have to get the master copies of the movies ready for Blu-ray which, even if they have been working on it has to be a long way off for them. I say we will see our first Universal movie in about 2 months, maybe a bit longer. With Spielberg's blessing you know they want to get some of their bigger catalog titles out there.
