PRC Direct Ripped me off!

So, I've just been ripped off by this TV Store, you may or may not have heard of them - PRC Direct.

They sold me a Panasonic 37" Plasma as new, I immediately noticed the TV has extremely bad screen burn, Text has been burned in to the screen damaging it permanently, the text is quite clearly an advert for Sky Sports, so I checked the TV's service menu to see how many hours it had already been running (obviously left on in the store) check this out!!!. . . . . . . 2580 hours!!! it'd been turned on and off 388 times!! That's over a years worth of use and they sold it to me as new!!! and with a damaged screen!!! can you believe these *******s?? I'm absolutely livid!!!

To add to this, they ripped me off on the delivery charges as well, they charged me £444.50 for the TV and £20 for next day delivery, that was last Tuesday, it's now almost a week later (Monday) and it's only just arrived (next day delivery??)

To top it all, this company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced, they've done nothing but lie to me from the very start, first they said the web site was wrong and they should not have offered next day delivery, then they said my TV had been lost by Citylink (Currier) whilst on route from their warehouse, they constantly hang up the phone on me, they're rude and evasive, now the TV arrives and it's ****ed!! I cant even bring myself to phone them, I think I'd rather just take them straight to court.

Worst still this has likely voided it's warranty so little chance of a replacement from Panasonic, and also in the mean time the TV I spent a great deal of time looking for and deciding upon has now sold out in every other store in the UK (including their own).

I'm so Angry with these idiots I cant tell you!!



Sold new from PRC Direct, these guy's really know how to look after their TV's!!



Sold as new from PRC Direct with 2580 hours of use!! (nearly a year!!)



At this stage I would appreciate any suggestions and even emotional support, I'm absolutely devastated, this was one of if not the last 37" Panasonic Plasmas left in the country!
