philips 47 inch 120 htz series 3000 issues

When I've turned down the volume and turned on a stereo to use with my ps3
which is imput using hdmi and also output using l/ r stereo to headphone which goes to the stereo. I also have dual sound on the ps3 active so if i wanted sound would come from the hdtv.

Another wierd thing is when the hdtv is turned off it normally says philips when you turn it back on but twice now it has the white power led come on with a hdtv that is still off-unplugging the power strip then pluging it back in solves the problem but could it be the strip or more likely a defective hdtv.

Has anyone heard of this model set having these problems and thanks.
