vanns has a deal on Jamo 400 series speakers. C401,C400SUR,C400CEN and SUB 250 all for$400.

I dont really know much about speakers but I did notice that they are 6 ohms
What is the difference between 6 and 8 ohms.and would they work with a denon 1019 reciver?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the Ohm ratings, your Denon should do just fine. Jamo speakers will be warm a little laidback, detailed in the highs and mid-range with decent lows.

ive been looking at the bookshelf speakers in that series, seems like a great price, cant really find any negative reviews on them
