Default OPPO problem

My OPPO BDP-83 stopped sending TRUEHD and DTS-HD Master audio to my AVR , put in a Bluray movie and had no voice audio of very low voice audio ,other audio sounded normal ,then my audio went to DD and DTS only . I restarted everything ,no change , swapped out HDMI cables ,no change , tried a diff Blu-ray player and the audio will play TRUEHD and DTS-HD .
Do not know what to do next but call OPPO ,Any Idea's ???????

Thanks Mark

How do you have the player connected?

If it is analog, I'd check the cables (low voices suggests a loose center channel cable).

If it is HDMI, I'd start by checking to make sure "Secondary Audio" is off (enabling it will cause the player to use the lossy core DD or DTS track).

HDMI connection , worked perfect for almost 5 months , I could get HD audio either thru LPCM or Bitstream from the OPPO , Secondary Audio is set to off , I will rechk,I made no changes ,just put in a BD and the audio sounded funny and then switched to lossy DD ,dd and dts sound normal , I have just lost the HD audio formats . Changed cables and hdmi ports and did not help , plugged in another BD played and it does play both HD audio formats , so it must be a setting in the oppo player that changed by itself or a internal fault in the oppo player .

Thanks for the help
Mark

Leon The Professional ,My problem is not limited to that BD , I have tried several others , the oppo tries to play DTS-HD MA , worked a few times after switching the audio back and forth a few times but for the most part I am getting no audio if I force HD audio . I will chk hmdi connections again .

Thanks Mark

Also try resetting the player to factory defaults.

Default problem fixed

I switched the tv setting from PAL to NTSC , works like it should now . There is a small P/N button on the oppo remote that will switch that setting ,.since I did not now it was there I must have hit it without knowing , I thought you could only change that setting in the setup menu .
