Default 1408 and Weinstein

I just saw that 1408 is coming out on DVD on Oct 2nd. I haven't seen it, but it seems to have gotten good reviews. I would love to get this on Blu-ray. You would think that if Weinstein was going neutral, they would announce something soon. I am not sure, but I don't think Weinstein have released any of their HD DVDs day and date with their DVDs. They haven't announced any HD DVDs lately either. Keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

I actually liked this movie quite a bit, pretty tense moments in there. I believe it's also Dimension, so I don't know how that would play with DVD. But this is deffinately a film that requires uncompressed audio!

I enjoyed this film more than I thought I would, probably because John Cusack is one of the better actors of the current film industry. The story was top notch, hell I even jumped in a scene, I havent done that in a movie for a long time.

1408 was the scariest movie i have ever seen

amazingly it had a good storyline which i was not expecting and i can see why it got good reviews

but man, i must have jumped at least 7 times in the movie

this will be a great title if it comes out on blu ray

This movie was the biggest waste of time since Grindhouse. It had a horrible story and was just really dumb. It had no point.

I totally agree, the story was very dumb and I didn't find the flick scary at all! I convinced my wife to see it with me, telling here that this is supposed to be one of the better horror flicks nowadays. She thought that it was so lame that she walked out from the movie...

I personally LOVED this movie it had the perfect mix of classic horror and modern effect, I really loved the radio the acting in the film was great if it comes to Blu-ray I'll likely buy the first day it's released and I'll have to show my dad he'd love it as well.

I got the movies. They both just had no point. They werent funny or scary or had lame action scenes or were just full of general stupidity. They in my opinion were pointless. But as I said it is my opinion and you can take it as it is.

I know. I knew that going in and was very excited. But I was just absolutely bored to death and consider that hands down the worst movie Ive ever seen in 26 years of my life. I love most movies as I own 161 BDs and 20 or so HDs and about 700 SDs. I give a lot of stuff the benefit of the doubt that movie was just that bad. Movies should be funny or exciting or scary or interesting but that was none of that and to make it worse it dragged on for about 3 and a half hours. Im sorry if Im dragging on but in my book that will be hard to beat as the worst movie of all time.

I really enjoyed 1408. I heard positive and negative about the movie, and ended up thinking it was great. I didnt read the stephen king short story, even though i have the book (more for the dark tower).

wow.... maybe you should buy any uwe boll film. You dont know the definition of "worst movie" until you see any one of his films. His films (if you can call them that) make me cringe from the terrible script. Ben Kingsley was embarrassed to be in Bloodrayne.
