Default The new SCORPIONS album STING IN THE TAIL

I literally just finished listening to this (I purchased it from iTunes because of the concert ticket offer) and wow it is truly mediocre. I'm not a huge fan of Scorpions but I like their popular stuff (my favorite album is World Wide Live, so that should clue true fans in) but for the life of me there is nothing special in the music, in fact I can't remember one melody or song lyric at all unless I think very hard. It was as if all the songs sounded the same and bled into each other which would have been fine if they were all good, but even my favorite track "Raised on Rock", isn't that great, it's essentially a rip-off of their popular 80s songs.

Another curiosity on this, Scorpions so-called "final" studio album before retirement, is titling the last track "The Best is Yet to Come". Huh?!

And I kinda wish we'd have gotten a controversial album cover like Virgin Killeror Lovedrive with this release.
