Default 3D article.

Gives you a brief over-view of what you need to upgrade to 3D. I am somewhat disappointed to see that you will have to have glasses made by the manufacturer of the TV you are watching. At approx 150 dollars a pair this is going to create issues IMO. If you want to have a few friends over they will either have to have the same brand of TV that you do, or you will have to buy multiple pairs of glasses in order to accommodate everyone. This technology is starting out way too proprietary, it needs to be more universal and interchangeable IMO.

XpanD is releasing 3D glasses that are supposed to be compatible with most if not all active shutter 3D displays. Pricing is supposed to be between $100-150 per pair.
