Japanese PSN Video Store

Is there a way to view what is on the Japanese PSN Video Store (anime, etc). Also if I buy an anime episode from there is it possible for me to watch it (I live in the US)?

Ya, what you would have to do is make a account for the region i.e. Japan. You have to get an address and such. takes time but you can do it. I had U.K account.

I do have a japanese account but I can't figure out how to get to the video section.

I have a Japanese account as well but I never go because I can never get anywhere since I dont speak japanese.

No the PSN Store Video Stores are region locked so which means Americans can't view the Japanese Video Store and vice versa. You can still purchase games, add-on content, and so on if you have a Japanese PSN Store Card but not the movies and anime to download.

I don't know much Japanese as well but I somehow manage. Though I suppose my imports from Japan are kind of helping me little by little.

The reason you can't access the Japanese video store is because your IP address isn't in Japan. That's how they region-lock that part of the store.

Technically, I think it would be possible to to access the video store of another reason if you setup your router to use a proxy located in that region (in this case, make your router use a Japanese proxy) but I'm fairly sure this is a breach of Sony's TOS and could possibly get you banned from PSN, if found out.

I usually take my PSP to Japan, log into my PSN account there and purchase my PSP manga stuff while in Japan. When I get back to Europe, it's impossible for me to access the manga part of the store, so it's clearly an IP address based filter.
