USA Nikita vs. Leon?

I'm a big fan of BOTH Luc Besson films. Both have Jean Reno in them. It's actaully hard to pick, I would say I like them pretty much equally but Leon is a better blu, due to having two versions of the film and extras, while Nikita is the movie only with zilch in the extras dept, I don't count BD-Live an extra (PQ and audio is great though)

Leon! Amazing film and stunning blu ray! I like Nikita too, but Leon has even more to offer in terms of depth of character/s and the Leon/Methilda relationship is so bittersweet. Oh, and it has Gary Oldman in one of his best roles ever.

"Bring me everyone."
"Whaddya mean everyone?
" EVEEERYYONEEEE!!!!!!!!!"

Just love it!!

Leon's authenticity makes it a classic. Plus, you get a pleasure of watching the young performances of some beloved actors/actresses.

would've been nice to have this as a poll, especially to see how many would actually vote nikita over the pro

Are you asking which film is better, or which blu-ray? If its film, then Nikita hands down. Leon takes the prize for better blu, though.

I'm glad Reno's role in Nikita was part of the inspiration for Leon. These films both have a good story but Leon had better performances.

One thing puzzles me, why is "Nikita" called "La Femme Nakita" on home video? The name of the film is simply "Nikita".

Leon is a far better film in every aspect.

Little bit of trivia for the Leon diehards... Who was originally tapped to play the roles of Leon and Mathilda?

[Show spoiler]Keannu Reeves & Liv Tyler
would not have been nearly as successful with those characters!
