Avatar Blu-ray SteelBook with Survival Guide is now OOS, appears to be limited to Pre-order run only. Hope you guys didn't procrastinate as I see a demand increase once people see the case and artwork Amazingly it appears Amazon has upgraded many US orders to UPS for free(Thanks Amazon)

it sure is surprising because amazon.co.uk had more than 800+ copies left on sunday when i was just checking it out by putting them in the basket.

Glad I ordered when I did.

I just wonder what the final production number will be. I would assume this is not going to be a very small run like the normal 4k to 8k batches.

Also, I wonder what will be released in November for the deluxe edition.

The steelbook was available to those who pre-ordered it. If you waited until release date, only the amaray version would be available

If you ordered the steelbook, i see no reason why you shouldnt get it. But you cant make orders for new copies now

They always over estimate arrival dates just incase it gets stuck in customs for some reason. I have never had an Amazon UK order take longer than 7 days to arrive via standard shipping.

Has there been a SteelBook confirmed for Avatar anywhere else besides the UK? I know that the Asian ones turned out to be Ironpaks. I secured a copy already, so I'm not worried about not getting one, but I'm just curious if there will be any other countries getting a SteelBook.
