The first game had a lot of potential but was a total bore in terms of narrative and gameplay. The second game, on the other hand, lived up to the potential of the first.

I'm definitely looking forward to this.

People like you are the reason why we have unnecessary multiplayer modes in games that don't need it. How many Death Match games can you play, seriously? They always have the same game modes, just different characters and environments.

Exactly my opinion on that game. As much as I liked AC2, I'll have to wait and see some reviews.

I played like 2 hours of the first game, didn't like it much. After hearing all the positive reviews of AC2, I rented it and got a platinum in a week's rental so for me it was worth it (as well as enjoying the game so much more than the first). I'll most likely do the exact same thing with this one too

I think fall 2010 is too soon for me as I don't expect big improvements and I didn't find ACII to be the big improvement over the first others did.

Not a fan of online multiplayer gaming. I liked ACII and got a platinum on it... if this is not ACIII, and just an ACII add-on, or multiplayer only, I just might skip it all together.

You're willing to pay $60 for trophies? Shit, send me $30 and I'll grab you 1 platinum, $20 each platinum after that.

I never played the first game as the reviews weren't that great, but I'm currently playing the second one though and it's amazing. I think it's one of the best games on the PS3, right up there with GTA IV, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.
