Anyone know when this is supposed to be released?

I bet there will be full game based off of GTAIV first, like the way Vice City and San Andreas were based off of GTAIII.

There might not be an official GTAV until the next gen consoles are released.

Vice and San Andreas were there own full games (only game game engine)

i think there will be a GTA5 next for development because they did Lost and the Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony and there hasnt been word of any other chapters so hopefully inital sotry is being sorted

If we get a GTA V next from the series it will be in Liberty City. But if it's another side game what city would you want it modeled after. My vote is for Boston or Chicago, since both have mob ties. You could base it on the Irish mobs in Boston. Or if it's in chicago more of the Italians.

It could be amazing if they completely overhaul the gameplay. Hire Naughty Dawg for the combat and I'm sold blindly. Or even better have Naughty make the entire game

London would be cool but i think that would turn alot of people off it.
besides it cool to have it based in a U.S city and then but english references in like the ones in Ballad of Gay Tony.

i would want Miami based like Vice City.

I don't know, But I hope it's longer and bigger than the 4th one. Hopefully a different city for a change too.

I've been saying this for years on GameFAQs or wherever that, in order to inject some freshness to the series, the main character in the next GTA should be a member of the triad. Ok, sure, there is already this China Town War for the DS, but I think it's time to have a Jet Li-type to lead the story from somewhere, say, Hong Kong to LA to NYC.

I believe the PS3 engine should be able to handle 3 major maps in one single game, along with all other goodies or what not. Even if they don't with the triad idea, I don't see why we have to be "stuck" in one city at all.

It's been made, but they named it Red Dead Redemption. If you haven't played it, get it. It's awesome.

They could but it will not be a PS3 exclusive so they'll will have to make the game with the limitations of the lowest common denominator.

GTA V is Red Dead Redemption. This game is a GTA clone, but instead of being in a city, you are in the wild west. Instead of driving cars, you ride a horse.
