Default Avatar (2009)

Quote:
Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people. More than ten years in the making, Avatar marks Cameron's return to feature directing since helming 1997's Titanic. WETA Digital, renowned for its work in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and King Kong, will incorporate new intuitive CGI technologies to transform the environments and characters into photorealistic 3D imagery that will transport the audience into the alien world rich with imaginative vistas, creatures and characters. The film was released in IMAX 3D simultaneously with the theatrical release on December 18, 2009.

I can't wait to see Cameron's next Sci-Fi feature. Aliens is pretty good and both Terminator and T2 are classics in cinema

Let's post all Avatar stuff here.

Hopefully the first teaser trailer will be tacked on to Ice Age 3 and be presented in 3D. (I think I've repeated myself here.)

"Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine"

Once a Marine always a Marine, Hollywood never gets it.

Looks cool though

You need the new poster up. Don't think the May 2009 one you have there is going to cut it anymore.

yeah, there was talk about Fox trying to plan for any potential losses from the wolvie leak by having a trailer for avatar in front of it. i doubt they'll have one done in time tho, and cameron definitely won't let them rush one just to make more $$$. one nice thing about being a highly sought after director, you have a lot more pull
