Unhappy Fox to continue with High Pricing trend ?

It looks like Fox is all set to resume their high pricing trend with their upcoming Blu-ray titles. Complaints have slowly started surfacing in avsforum. I hope that they price similar to BVHE.

Sadly, I am so addicted, high prices won't stop me from owning close to 20 of what they have already announced.

*sigh*

$23.95 is the most I have paid for a Blu yet. Most have been $19.95. If it's not really a "got to have" movie for me I can wait till the prices drop. Fox does have alot of good titles though.

Yes most companies release "list" price. Most dealers sell up to 40% off list. This is known as map price.

Fox has been guilty of this for years now, even with DVD.

Anyways, if you're paying anywhere clost to MSRP for...anything, really, you need to start shopping smarter.

I do agree that Fox's BD are a bit too expensive in contrast with other studios' BD's.

Perhaps it's the DTS-MA licensing & mastering fee

Just take a look at the prices Best Buy is charging for Heroes Season 1. The difference between DVD and hd-dvd prices is staggering.
