What do everyone mean with counts? Pre-orders count if you really are going to buy the movie. That's what counts!

If you are thinking of Nielsen: No, only shipped/delivered discs that the shop have taken money for counts. Pre-orders will then be counted then they are shipped and money have been paid for them.

If you are thinking of the Amazon rankings: Yes, they count.

What really counts in the end is the movies you buy.

Well I've bought 5 movies this week. Just found a copy of The Untouchables. Get it before they are gone, Also Shooter, Was trying to find Trading Places and nobody had it. All my buys are from Best Buy and Willow Video. There was a couple from Walmart. I'd order from Amazon if they'd ship to Canada.

I'm in Saskatchewan and I order from Amazon all the time. And believe me with the prices around here its worth the little extra wait.

I agree... HDADDICTS.com is not a crap site. They have some pretty good prices... They used to be a member here - but tried to pull a stunt and got caught. If I remember correctly, they gave us (members at blu-ray.com) some great discounts - and matched Amazon.com prices. The only reason I don't buy from them as often is because they are in Canada and I have to pay through PayPal.

Because it started as a sited loved by HD-DVD fans. Guess they still are buying there but the owner now see a shift in sales trend even on his site.

Blu-ray is selling more but some fansites can be slated towards one of the formats more than the general trend. In the end Blu-ray will win on every site. Another example is Axel Music that have been very slated towards HD-DVD but that has changed and Blu-ray is leading on that site also.
