Default need help with onkyo htsr800

i have my ps 3 hooked up through hdmi, it works fine. when i try to hook up my wii or 360 through component, i have nothing. no sound, no video,nothing. is there something im missing? any help would be appreciated!

These inputs must be assigned,go through your instruction manual and you should find out how.I don't own an onkyo receiver but i've seen people having this problem many times.

If you are using the PS3 on your DVD input, then you can't use the dvd component for another device. Only one connection per input name is allowed regardless of what type.
Hook up the 360 to the cable inputs and make sure that component is selected for that input in the menu. Do the same for the wii but pick another input. (like VCR or aux).
