Is there not a convention next week? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm almost certain that there is a conference on Tuesday September 4th and a convention starting on Wednesday? If so what is the name of it and what should we expect from it?

yea i believe thats the one.... should we expect to hear any new announcements of movies during this convention?

CEDIA 2007 will be in my hometown of Denver, Colorado from Wednesday Sept 4th until Sunday. CEDIA 2006 was in Denver last year as well....I guess the techies like the mile high city! Too bad CEDIA, unlike CES, is not a public convention, other wise I would be there after work every day with bells on. I am sure there will be a few more BD announcement, not sure about movie announcements, I would like a cheap $250 BD player announcement! That would be killer! So we can get over this price gap hump with the cheap POS HDDVD players! Maybe an official 1.1 announcement?

maybe that might announce newer companies to support blu-ray exclusively that would be awesome like maybe having new line supporting Blu-Ray only. That would mean watching the old live action TMNT movies, Spawn, Hairspray, etc. in HD Blu-Ray only

There are a LOT of high technology companies in and around Denver.
I look forward to all the BD news coming out of CEDIA this week.
And news and piccies of Denon's DVD-2500BTCI BD transport has me most excited.
