Default HDTVs for Gamming/Blu-ray

My wife and I are planning on buying a new flat panel (plasma or LCD) for the living room. It does get a lot of light during the day so a rear ProJo won't work. Looking for something in the 50-60" range and of course must be 1080p for the PS3.

I have been looking at the Pioneer FHD-PRO1 (3-4k) on ebay. Need some input from ya'll as to what you have or what to stay away from. Her parents bought a 42" Sammy and thought it was the best but when I set it up and tuned it to HD football all the runners looked like they had a cloud of pixils following them...that is what I don't want. So please help with any ideas.

Thanks,
Steve.
