Default Make your commitment for October 16th.

In an effort to make up for my "selling out" and buying the Transformers on HDDVD, I will protest not by boycotting the disc, but by showing overwhelming support for BD that same day.

I will Buy:

-The Invisible
-Hallowman
-The Reaping Added
-ATL

5 to 1 in favor of Blu-ray disc here.

I reccomend we all buy an extra title or two that day just to offset the spike Transformers will give HDDVD.

Dude, you'd better get the MIs now. They probably won't be in stock on Oct 16.

Count me in....The Reaping and The Invisible

and probably a few titles released on earlier dates that I had not boughten yet.

Man it seems they really rushed this release, Oct 16th! I suppose with the space limitation they really don't have to spend much time on the HD encoding

it's called desperation, they are hoping getting it out early will make up for the sales they lost with no BD version

hd dvd are betting all their money on transformers and shreeek if they don't turn around player sales they are screwed. If I didn't care about film I'd burn copies of torrent transformers and hand them out on street corners just to spit in paramounts eye.
