As I look at all of the collections on BD.com, I see that everybody's DVDs and BDs are in immaculate condition. (Almost as if they've never been watched).
How do you guys keep the corners so sharp on cardboard sets? Do you keep the shrink wrap on the box set and only slit it to get the discs out? I'm pretty obsessive about my movie collection, and even mine have some compression dents in the boxes and worn corners. Back in 2002, I bought The Simpsons DVD boxsets. $54.99 retail!! I made the mistake of loaning them out to a friend. Long story short, I got the Box set back and it looked as if he drove over it with his car. Those kinds of things end a friendship ![]() Nowadays IF I lend out a disc, I always send the disc in a slim jewel case. I also do this when going on road trips etc. Who else does this? I'm sure many people are in my position, so I figured a thread was a good idea. With 57 TV DVD/BD sets, I have to protect my investment ![]() |
