Default I did my part today.

I bought 3 movies from warner
2 from Buena Vista
and 1 from Lionsgate.

My collection is at ~27 right now.

Some odd reason most of the films I got are from Sony Studios.

Please show your support and dont purchase anymore paramount films

I feel disgusted that I own Sleepy Hollow, MI3, Italian Job

Hi,

First off,.. good work. Buying Blu Ray's is the best way to "do your part" as you say. I bought only 1 so far today but .. there's still time

But, I wouldn't feel bad about owning Paramount titles. Think about it,.. $150Million is good money esp for struggling Hollywood studios. In 18 months they will be back (although we may get ports from HD DVD encodes for some titles instead of having things optimized for BR.) I have 5 Paramount titles and I consider picking up a few more. I actually don't see much wrong with what they did,.. in the end it won't save HD DVD no matter what the HD DVD fans think.

For just 10 million I would go HD DVD exclusive for 18 months too. It was suck but I could buy lots of Blu Rays when the 18 months runs out plus a couple of cars, a nice house, some swanky vacations and so on.

-Brian

Honestly, the bribe is probably keeping Paramount in business on it's own right now. It's pretty likely they could be bought out given their low stake at the moment.
