Default Looking to build my own speaker stands... have a ???
I recently just bought Polk Audio's RTi6's to use as my rear speakers... And I can find any stand high enough that would suppor their weight... I want get them at least 4-5 feet in the air... I was gonna mount them but decided against that... so I was hoping to build my own stands... Im curious if anyone knows of a site with plans on it?? Ive searched but couldnt find anything...

And are there any disadvantages to building wood/oak stands???
