X-Men III - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, so I went to go see X-Men III in the theatre when it was released yesterday.

The movie was pretty good, great effects, and some great action. Anyhow, as I'm watching a scene as they go up in their plane and there is some dialog between Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Iceman (not sure what his name is), you noticed, plane as day I kid you not, the word "PS3" chisled into the headrest of the chairs they were sitting in.

I couldn't help but chuckle with the subliminal advertising for the PS3. Maybe a hint of what is to come on Blu-ray soon? Maybe a new X-Men PS3 game? Anyhow, I just thought I'd share, and look forward to more little marketing plots in upcoming films.

saw the movie and saw what you were talking about. it looks real similar, but was missing that blockiness. couldn't tell you to save my life what it would mean for the x-men though

1. They're sitting in the passenger section of the plane.
2. They have numbers for each chair.

Thus, we have passenger numbers.

PS meaning passenger, and the passenger number.

That's how I understood it anyway, after 4 seconds, but at first, I was going PS3???? What does Playstation have to do with X-men.

Good day guys'

Yes i also went to see the film Fri-26 and Sat-27 with friends and noticed the PS3 and was wandering at the time what it could mean, apart from the obvious. I then thought nothing more of this.

I was impressed by the sound quality and thought this will be a good test disc for any system. look forward to the DVD and BLU-RAY.

The film in general was also good.

the movie just came out in my country, i 'have notice too the ps3 on the plane sit, at first i was thinking that was just my impression that they ment to the play station 3...but

the scene start with cheerup music "xman let's go in action" so that they pump you up the action right away u see the ps3 on the seat and thenthe music dropped down with the view on the bridge and right before magento do stuff... they shown 2 kids playing with a playstation in a car (not a very xman story part needed..)... that ruined the scene so bad on my view...not that i dont like the playstation... but do they really need to go so down to make an advertisment that look like an subliminal one? btw all the xman games that they made so far sucked really bad so mybe they needed it so bad to equilibrate the loss.....one thumb down

i havent heard about a new Xmen game for the PS3.

i have checked with the PS3 forums and I/they believe its just a passenger number.
