Default Face/Off for Blu-ray?

I have tried to google this and came out with a Sep. 11 date for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray but I don't see them anywhere. I don't see it being released soon, any ideas?

Face/Off is a Paramount title in USA. It's not distributed by Paramount in for example UK or Japan so you can order it from either of these two countries:

Here is a link to the covers on Amazon.co.jp:

Not even good enough to waste the shipping charges for it.

Default I hate paramount

Paramount sucks. I will buy transformers on blu-ray from japan even if I have to learn japanese. I was really looking forward to Face-Off before Paramount stuck their good sense up their own ***. Losers. I will pay $46 bucks or whatever for the privledge of owning this only OK movie.

Good luck finding it on Blu-Ray in any country as Paramount owns worldwide rights to it.

Wrong!
Paramount only owns the distributions rights to it in North America. Pretty much everywhere else Buena Vista owns the distribution rights to it. As a matter of fact it is to be released on Blu-ray in the UK on October 1st.

The Japanese Face/Off has PCM as well.

Edit: According to this, Transformers is distributed either by Paramount or Universal, or by UIP, which is a joint venture between Paramount and Universal. So . . . I don't think we're seeing Transformers anytime soon.

I think he's talking about Transformers. This is why people should use the quote function.

You're right about Face/Off though. It is distributed by BVHE at least in South East Asia/Japan.

I did... I just didn't delete the rest of the stuff about Face/Off because I thought it'd be obvious I was talking about Transformers.

So I guess what everyone saying here is that it has been released already but it's rare to find? I could have sworn that the american version was comming soon. Did they delay it, or just stopped it completely?

No, everyone is saying it's available overseas. The UK version comes out on Monday. Paramount owns distribution rights here in America, so the release was cancelled when they were paid off by Toshiba. It was supposed to be released 9/11. Then got pushed back to mid October. Then they were paid off to quit releasing Blu-Rays so now it's not (and wont be for a while) available in the U.S.

I guess I should have read what you were commenting on, but then again the thread is supposed to be about Face/Off.

i have the blu-ray UK import of Face-off that i got from ebay yesterday from a guy in the US who watched it once. Also got it for $22 shipped which i thought as a steal.

its a MUST HAVE.

PQ 4.5/5.0

fantastic movie to own.

whenever this comes out on blu-ray in US, who cares? the US version will be identical on performance, so why wait? just grab it.
