Definitely good news for Blu-Ray supporters. These titles should do a lot to showcase the image quality of the new HD formats, but I'm a little disappointed they're single-layered disks. I just hope that the BD media producers can get the ball rolling on dual-layered Blu-Ray disks by year's end. Because greater storage capacity has been one of the touted features when compared to HD-DVD, but right now they're obviously at a slight deficit.

Agreed. IMO Sony dropped the ball when they decided to release anything as single layer.

YES!!!! Silent Hill is coming on August 22nd. Now I am excited. Course, this just means I will own it a full 3 months before I get to watch it since My first Blu-ray player will probably be the PS3, unless I can somehow manage to get my Wife to give me the Ok to Buy a player, but that may be pushing it, We already are Buying a High def TV to hang on the wall, Thats $1500 to $2000, a PS3 thats $800 or so by the time I buy a couple games and extra controller, The Nintendo Wii for our son, thats, well no one really knows yet. I figure at least 3-4 hundred with a game or two and an extra controller and now I have to get a new bulb for my Projector that just shot last night and I have only had it for about 7 months and barely used 15% of its life. Feel I got screwed By Sharp on that one, its a great projector but the Bulbs better last longer than that. Gotta call sharp and complain, Maybe see if they will replace it or give me a discount since I only had the projector 7 months. So as you can see, I may be pushing my luck with the Blu-ray player. lol

Silent Hill was excellent. Weird just like the games, and just like the games, the ending made no sense. However, I just have this strange feeling we'll get an Extended Edition in Oct.

Patrick, the Nintendo Wii is going to be $250.

As for the PS3, no video game system is worth even $300.

In order to not stir the pot a simple "in my opinion" added to your statement would be nice.

Yeah, your right, In my opinion, its worth more. Besides, its only money, if you cant enjoy some of it, why work so hard to make it? I work hard for what I have, and I play hard with as much of it as I can.

Have you seen his recent thread and post history here and at AVS?

It's like there's some contest going on somewhere to see how many useless spam threads a person can generate in the shortest amount of time or something...

Here's a little recent hits sampler:

How many times does the same stupidity have to be repeated and shot down?

Dr. Kain: Please tone it down. There is also little reason to post everything at one forum and then copy it at the other. If it's newsworthy or you believe it to be an important issue or question fine, but not every single post you make.

Thank you.
