Default canceled my pre-order

From some of the posts about defective players/discs/ I've canceled my pre-order with amazon, not to mention the fact that the movies aren't even dual layer 50 gigs yet. I'm not about to drop a grand on a player that might have defects and movies that aren't 50 gigs yet. I'm going to have to go to the store and see how they preform in person.

I'd wait. On all of this.
I think your criteria is VERY reasonable.

i'd have done the same thing but for different reason. The players are so expensive. i can't afford to buy such players. i think i'll wait until the selling prices drop to sth more reasonable.

I certainly sounds like the first discs and the Samsung player are underwhelming...

I think I can wait for the PS3
