Default Once Blu-ray has defeated Toshiba's HD DVD, should Toshiba be held accountable?

for starting this format war because of their greed? Wanting to continue to horde the massive profits of licensing revenue by cornering the next generation video disc market?

I think so. It seems to me that most CE/Movie studios wanted to make this multi-company front and advance the technology together but because of Toshiba's greed it splintered an otherwise unified front and thus hurt everyone from the software makers and hardware manufactures right down to the consumers of the products.

Perhaps they are those that support them (companies) should pay stiff fines and/or not be allowed to "play" until reasonable restitution can be accumulated.
