USA Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Complete Series

I suppose the original thread we had was lost in the wipe, so here goes:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Complete Series DVD PRE-ORDER

Saban and Shout! Factory will be bringing the Power Rangers series to DVD over the next several months. Perhaps the best known of these is the first installment, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which ran for three seasons and 145 episodes from 1993-1995, and spawned a feature film, and numerous subsequent Power Rangers television series and other media.

Individual releases are also available to purchase and/or pre-order:

Power Rangers Season 1 Volume 1 is also available at bestbuy.com with the SKU being 20386489.

But the original series is all I really care about and maybe a couple of others like Turbo. So no interest in Alien Rangers.

Indeed, I would prefer just to purchase the nineteen-disc box set and be done. Hopefully, pre-order information will be revealed before the first volume is set to release from Amazon.com.

I think that boxset will be a hassle to try and get depending on just how limited it is. Then, people will resell it on like eBay for twice the cost.

My thinking though it that it will first be available at SDCC, and then go to wider distribution some time after, probably around the time season three releases individually.

If someone who was going wanted to do a group buy, that's something I'd definitely be interested in.

Red Ranger (Jason) should have been the main bigger character on the cover

So glad someone is finally putting these on DVD. Would prefer BD, but I'll settle for DVD!

LOL, the guy who got replaced with the line "Tommy is the new leader now"?

I don't think so. Even a Jason fan has to admit that Tommy made that show what it was.

I grew up with this show. I will definitely purchase it at some point. I am guessing the price will be a little high but oh well.

So maybe it's safe to say we'll at least get the first 7 seasons? I'll probably get them individually. I don't really want to spend $200 at once

The complete box set is tempting. I'd rather not buy the series in volumes if I don't have to.

season 1-3 will still be split into 2 voulmes ea 4-7 are shorter seasons so they ea only use 1 case. the box sets will have all the cases stuck into 1 larger box. tbh there is no reason why season 1-3 are in volumes i have the german box sets for s 1-6 and none of them are in voulmes.

We already know they have an HD version of the first movie ready to go as it's aired on StarzHD multiple times.

Here's a picture of both box sets being released. This is how you will get all 7 seasons through Time Life. Also, the MMPR set will not be released at retail. You will either have to get it through Time Life or at Comic Con. All retail will get is the individual volumes.

What is the Installment Plan?

Several products on our site allow you the option of paying in separate installments with zero interest. If you have chosen an applicable product, the Installment Plan check box will appear in the shopping cart. Click it to take advantage of this convenient payment plan. Your entire order will then be divided into installments. Orders that exceed $800 are not eligible for the Installment Plan option regardless of individual product eligibility.

On your first statement, you will be charged the applicable installment plus all sales tax and shipping charges. Note: The balance due on your order cannot exceed the credit balance available on your credit card account. The Installment Plan does not apply to Introductory Offers.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Think I'll pass though. These can be found to watch online rather easily, I would think.

As soon as Time Life offer their next coupon I'm ordering the complete set. After a little bit of research I noticed they had one for Fathers Day that was 10% off plus free shipping but I didn't know about this set then. Ebates also offers 6% cash back if you click through them so the total would have been around $190.00 (pre tax) which is pretty sound. If you guys see another coupon at any point please post it on here.
