Even if this film isn't your cup of tea, it's never a bad thing when a R rated comedy does well at the theater. It helps other R rated films get made since studios will be less hesitant to release them

Besides, if you aren't a Family Guy fan (I love the show), I would imagine this film may not be for you anyway

I liked it but it performed poorly even in its opening weekend. so this week they actually cut down its showtimes.

No, it's that the annual late-June Pixar didn't deliver this year--and there was no Big-Studio Michael Bay Blockbuster till after July 4--so the Frat Pack comedy looked around, and said, "Hey guys, check it out, the coast is clear! Where'd everybody go?"

(The ads promoting Seth McFarlane as "Family Guy: the Movie" didn't keep the cult-zombies away from an opening-weekend pilgrimage of "duty", either...Not exactly the stuff of which second weeks are made.)
