Default Why boycott Transformers in SD?

Or any Paramount/Universal movie in SD for that matter? Think about this for a moment. Us not buying their titles doesn't effect HD-DUD sales one bit. All we would be doing is decreasing the sales for SD, which in turn makes the percentage of HD-DUD versions sold for each movie higher. That will make the studio's think that more people want or prefer HD-DUD. The greater effect is buying the SD version, and making it look like very few want the HD-DUD format.

Believe me, I was pissed when Paramount turned their back for cold hard cash, and I don't like giving my money to companies that are that gutless. However, I'd rather give them a little money than let them think more people want that wannabe format. The goal shouldn't be to make Paramount lose $150 million, but to make them know HD-DUD isn't wanted.

On the other hand buying some extra blu-ray movies during HD-DUD's most/only anticipated release week was a great idea. I've bought several blu-ray movies in the last week, and will continue to do so....whether my wallet wants me to or not.

Just a thought. Might not even be worth 2 cents. Certainly not 150 mil.....
