Very, very happy to see "Safe and Sound" instead of "Abraham's Daughter" from The Hunger Games, though the Oscars only consider the first song played during the credits.

Super happy about the love for Django and Cloud Atlas (original Score for which it by far deserves to win over the not very exciting scores for the others)

Some very terrible things got (in some cases out of nowhere) recognized unfortunately though: Taylor Swift (retch, should have been Arcade fire nominated for this film, Swift is garbage and only makes garbage)), Life of Pi, The Girl, Act of Valor, Deep Blue Sea, Nashville, etc. But hey its the Globes.

Also happy about the Love for GIRLS which I think is easily gonna win best comedy and I am pulling for Dunham for actress as well. Such a super talented woman. Love watching her and the series.

Not surprised been saying for over a month it will end up getting more noms that anything else. By my count it should at least get 13 Oscar nominations. Can it win at the Globes and/or the Oscars? I hope not. Its good but nothing very re-watchable and certainly not one of Spielberg best films. It is technically well made and acted though so who knows.

Why does the Golden Globes hate Aaron Paul? I know the Golden Globes doesn't actually care about TV and that's why they put all supporting actors from not just shows but TV movies and miniseries in one category, but there's no way Aaron Paul on Breaking Bad isn't one of the 5 best supporting actors on TV.

Thank god no Clint Eastwood and his sub-par movies of late.

It also sucks to see no Skyfall or Javier Bardem.

I too am surprised that Bardem didn't make the cut. Although I haven't actually seen any of the other nominees. Also, no Hobbit? I thought that was award-bait like any of the LOTR movies.

I love the globes because I don't have to rethink my Oscar predictions after they are announced.

All the nominees love them as well, because it doesn't mean anything if you win...or if you loose.

And every year, it's the same darn thing:

"People, let's get over ourselves, it's just the Golden Globes! They've been around since the 30's! They're not movie unions or critics' circles--We don't even know WHO the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is! Has anyone ever seen a member? Why are we still even paying attention anymore?

(So, they said Django and Pi would be nominated? (scribbles furiously))"

Pretty happy with the nominees this year, could have nominated Game of Thrones over Newsroom and almost anything over Smash but can't really complain too much this year.

Don't be surprised by any nominations, because Golden Globes are a JOKE!!! They basically nominate who they want to show up at their party.

Oh, and for Paranorman to not even get NOMINATED when it is the clear WINNER for best animated? What a pathetic list

Makes me sad that Perks of Being a Wallflower didn't get anything.

Also, I can't figure out why Shameless and William H. Macy doesn't ever get nominated for anything, yet shows like Episodes does.

Paranorman? I haven't seen any predictions for that winning. Wreck it Ralph is the clear winner if there is one.
