the listing below is my master bedroom
where we watch the majority of TV The "Family" room ( just me, wife, and dogs ) is being upgraded as we speak 73" Mit, Yam DSP-A1 w/ M&K's in 7.1 want the new Onkyo 905 and Pana 65" to each his own ![]() |

+1 When it comes to audio, I would stay clear from Sony. They are great with video equipment but there are better options for audio.
For an HTIB I'd check into Onkyo as I hear they make some pretty good little systems. Mind you, none of these HTIB's will be all that spectacular but Onkyo is probably a better option to consider. |

there not many htib that can play pcm sound but this sony system does. And for the money you cant go wrong.

I think in the $500 range, most HTIBs will sound basically the same. They all should be fine in a bedroom.
And here is another reason I don't like Sony audio stuff - From their spec sheet: Audio Power Output 1000W (143w x 5 + 285w (1KHz, 10% THD)) Even with 10% THD (which is very high), there is no way this system can put out 143w to all channels at the same time. How about a little honesty. |
