So I've seen these previews on some of my bds showing cool bluray movies and it showed sin city as one of them. Is this actually out for bd or is being planned for realease?

Believe me, once something comes up, the forum will be all over it. I don't even have it on dvd, so I will buy the Blu-ray as soon as "they" LET me.

haha oops I just really wanted to find it if it was out. Who makes/distributes it?

The distributor in 2005 was Dimension Films/Miramax, but it will be released by Touchstone/Disney when it comes out on Blu-ray. Also, those previews have been around for almost a year now.

I belive the theatrical cut will be Blu exclusive and extended cut will only be HD DVD exclusive. I have watched both and I prefered the theatrical cut.

I have both versions on DVD... and i'm dying for a Blu release, haha, its going to be bloody mind blowing in high def, I can't wait.

If Sin City has really great audio such as PCM and has a beautiful picture i wouldnt care if its the theatrical cut or the extended cut i would still buy it

Why would hddvd get this if this is disney?? (sin city i mean)
