Default How come the BDA hasnt tried to make a deal with MS?

One thing that has occured to me is that MS has been the main thorn in the side of the BDA. It has been speculated that MS is only involved in the format war to move people into downloading.

Then why doesnt the BDA do this:

Tell MS if they dont back off on HD-DVD, then Fox, Disney, Sony, MGM or Lionsgate will not allow their titles to EVER be distributed on xbox live?

Seems like a good idea to me.

On the flip side:

IF they can get MS to back down, why not offer them the ability to sell any of their movies they want on xbox live?

If that happens: MS wins and the BDA wins.

Just a random thought....
