Ok...this question has been misunderstood many...many times on a different thread (regarding a different subject). So I thought I'd ask it here:
The PS3 upscales DVDs to 1080p...most of us know this, and I am not questioning this. My question is: Is there a way to upscale SD content on a Blu-ray disc? (special features and such). My projector changes resolution when I select a 480i special feature, but shouldn't the PS3 automatically upscale it to 1080p? (or 720p in my case). I am not saying anything about how there SHOULD be HD special features on blu-rays, I am not saying that the PS3 does not upscale DVDs...I am saying that it does not upscale SD content that is on a Blu-ray disc.
