I own a 37" LCD Vizio for the main room and a 32" for the bedroom. If this is your first HDTV you will be pleasantly surprised at the size and quality for the price. As far as the TV displaying the deepest blacks, 120Hz refresh, etc. well the Vizio line of TV's are lacking.

Bottom line, a great starter HDTV, but not appropriate for the true AV enthusiast. I plan to upgrade to the Sony XBR4 shortly and I purchased my Vizio at Costco so that I can return within 90 days!

own a 20 inch. love their LCD's their plasmas imo are crap. stay away from their plazzys. nuff said. although they dont compare to a sammy or a sony, they're better than MOST other lower cost hdtvs.

I have a 47 inch visio 1080p LCD that I got as a refurb off amazon. I love it and have had no problems so far. Picture looks great on my ps3 and I also own over 20 blu rays which look great on it also.

if your vizio is dead in 2 years who will fix it? not vizio, you have to buy a box and then ship it to the factory and after all is said and done if you spend less then 100$ you can buy a new one and just toss the old one in the trash

Along with that, most Vizio (and Westinghouse and all the other off brands) don't actually do 1080p. They're actually 540p that's linedoubled so they can cheap out on the display hardware.
