Leopard on a PS3

You know how you can change the Operating System on the PS3, well my brother has leopard and we were talking about switch my PS3 to Leopard and if it would work. Has anyone thought of trying it too, cuz i dont think im the only one. Good Idea? Thank you for your suggestions ahead of time

oh ok but its cool, if i could upload leopard, i wouldnt get the sony updates for it

sony said from the start that any os could run on it. but it'd take apple or microsoft to make the os do that. i think it'd be in the best interest of sony and apple to let osx run on there, but i know it'll never happen

Why cant we all just get along, if i could i would put it on there, and i would if i could get the updates for the PS3 also but not sure if u can

well search google for fedora and yellow dog linux. they're pretty cool to run on the ps3. its no osx, but its still pretty cool to have. and it runs on top of the ps3 os, so it does no harm to the ps3 itself. so you still have your updates and everything for the ps3
