I just posted a thread asking a question about patience. Within four minutes it had received 11 very intelligent responses. Within five minutes. The thread had been deleted. It wasn't pro-HD DVD, and it wasn't con-BD. It was an interesting discussion without any vulgarity. And in a few minutes, it's gone. It wasn't even creating a debate!

It wasn't deleted. It was put in the off-topic discussion heading. Though this topic should be deleted

I posted in that thread and I don't blame them for taking it down. No matter how you worded your original post, it was antagonistic to the cause of this site. Plus, there have been about 80 similar threads started since the news of the $98 player. So, to answer your original thread in much simpler terms than I previously did.....

BECAUSE! Now stop trying to promote neutrality and the death of HDM as we know it. Thank you.

EDIT: HAHAHAHA.... thought it was deleted myself. Oops.

You're right. I'm very sorry. I searched for it for five minutes and didn't find it anywhere. Sorry mods. But I have been booted in the past days after making a single post. I didn't think to look for the thread in another area. I'd delete this thread if I could figure out how to. Sorry again!

I do believe that other topic certainly does belong under "general discussion" instead of "off-topic." It's anything but off-topic.

Sorry. What I meant was, I was banned a few days after I had made my previous post. Not banned after just one post. No, it took a full three posts for me to get banned before.

Man.....where were all of you wonderful Blu Ray supporters earlier?

I commented in another post written similar to the original posters thread. In it I accused him of trolling and other members of this site jumped down my throat, saying that I cant accuse everyone of being a troll just because they express unpopular opinions. Eventhough his line of questioning was subtle and not obviously propaganda. He was clearly trying to drum up support for HD DVD.

I say, if you're gonna come on a blu ray website and try and talk up the advantages of adopting the HD DVD technology you should expect to meet some pretty strong oppostition to your views.

Prime, this isnt a neutral site, stop trying to act like it should be. We do not support HD DVD here, get over it, move on, regardless if you like it or not.
